10 Months Old!

I've been a major slacker lately with the blog. A bunch of stuff has happened and I'll try to remember it all:

Josh is now 10 months old....I can't believe it. He had his 9 month well baby visit on Friday. The doctor said he is perfect in every way. But of course we already knew that.

His stats are:
Weight - 22lbs 10oz (50-75%)
Height - 29 1/2 (75%)
Head - 19 1/4 (75%)

He got the last hepatitis B shot in the series and didn't even flinch. Such a big boy (or a really good nurse). While the doctor was looking in his mouth with the stick I thought I saw something new. I ask him to look again....when did he get that third tooth up top? He now has a total of 5 teeth and working on two more (one on top and one on the bottom). The doctor wants us to start feeding him more table food and phase out the baby food as quick as possible. He eats like a champ!

Backing up a week or so......

Aunt Nan was in town two weeks ago, from PA, for a visit. This was the first time her and Josh met. I think they both had a great time playing. Aunt Nan's birthday was on August 15 and we got together for dinner and cake! Happy Birthday Aunt Nan.

Shoes! Josh has never liked to have anything on his feet - not even socks. However, now that he is crawling around everywhere and cruising along furniture, we thought we should try to gradually get him use to having shoes on for when he does start to walk. We went to Stride Rite and had him measured, he's a size 5W! My little boy is going to be huge. A linebacker maybe. We didn't find anything we liked that they had in his size so we went to Target and found a cute pair for only $12 - bonus. I was shopping in Once Upon A Child on Friday and found a pair of Nike sneakers in his size for only $10. Great. Maybe by the time he enters school he'll be comfortable in them.

Greg started his new job on Monday and is learning a lot and very busy. He no longer has to wear a uniform and therefore we HAD to go on a shopping spree in Williamsburg. He got a bunch of nice clothes and shoes and Josh and I even managed to come away with a few new things as well. It was a fun day.

Ummmmm......

Oh I almost forgot, Josh learned how to unroll the toilet paper and flush the toilet this week. Oh my!
