We cannot wait for the arrival of our little girl – Bailey Michele! Although if you were to ask Josh her name he would tell you “Raspberry Braspberry”. A short time after we found out we were having a girl, Greg asked Josh what he wanted to name her…his response (while drinking a Raspberry smoothie) “Raspberry Braspberry”. And that’s what he calls her. I think it’s supper cute and what a great story to share with her when she gets older. Bailey’s big brother is so excited for her arrival.
Although this has been a record setting HOT Summer, I’m doing my best to manage the heat. I’ll be 28 weeks on Saturday. I am starting to have trouble getting into comfortable positions to sleep, but otherwise I’m doing well. My blood pressure is still low and I haven’t really had any swelling to speak of. I go back to see Dr. Miller next week and anticipate having to do the GD test some time to follow. Yuck!
We finally managed to get her room cleared out and her furniture delivered. Next week the room will be painted and then we can put together the crib and get everything set up - oh and shampoo the carpte. Next step - get all of the baby stuff out of the attic, go through it, clean it, give some of it away, etc. I'm excited to finally get started. I need to get organized!
