My first Mother’s Day was wonderful. Motherhood has been the best thing that has ever happened to me. I am a proud Mommy and I look forward to what challenges each day brings in raising our son. 
I had a relaxing morning with Greg and Josh before the events of the day were to start. I got two very nice cards from Greg and Josh AND a beautiful necklace. Josh has great taste in jewelry - - just like his Daddy.
We met Greg’s parents for brunch and it was delicious. Josh ate his first cracker while at the restaurant. They are called Baby Mum Mums. He seemed to like them, however, they didn’t look all that appetizing. It did keep him occupied while we ate, which was the goal. Then went back to Grandma and Grandpa’s house and visited with them for a while before heading home for a nap.
Once Josh woke up from his nap, we headed to Uncle Mike and Aunt Mary’s to celebrate Mary’s birthday and Mother’s day with my Mom. We had such a good time visiting with the family and even though it was Mary’s birthday celebration and Mother’s Day, she graciously made dinner for everyone. Thanks Mary!
All-in-all it was a long day, but good.
