We had a nice Thanksgiving with both sides of the family and are thankful every day that they are in our lives. Josh got to eat his first thanksgiving meal and really enjoyed. Especially the cranberry sauce! Yum. Can you believe I forgot my camera that day? Sigh…
Josh turned 13 months old on November 22 and I missed it. Dad was in the hospital and that day came and went and I never thought about it. He is such a big boy now! He is becoming more independent (or trying to at least) every day. I always looked forward to bedtime, because that was “our” time, just the two of us, to rock and cuddle as he fell asleep. Lately, he doesn’t want to be rocked. He just wants to be put in his crib with his blankie and binkie and to fall asleep on his own. Most nights he’ll talk for two or three minutes and then he’s asleep. Greg and I could not have asked for an easier child - - we are very blessed.
Christmas is steadily approaching….where did this year go? We put up our Christmas tree and Josh just loves to go in that room and point at all of the balls (“bawl”). Of course we had to put up our six sided gate around the tree and gifts so that “hurricane Josh” would destroy it. Here are a few pictures of our tree and a Christmas card photo shoot from last weekend.
