May was the month to celebrate in the Anchor house! Josh went for his check-up on his legs and received the BEST news ever! They took x-rays and determined that his legs had completely straightened since our last visit (9mos. ago) and they even had become a little “knock kneed” – which is completely normal. Dr. Kuester said she was not concerned about Blounts’s Disease anymore and that unless we saw a negative change or if Josh complains about pains or anything that we did not need to return. THANK THE LORD! What a long and stressful journey that was. Although, Josh still remembers wearing the braces, I don’t think he remembers all of the BAD that Greg and I will always remember. I’m so thankful that he was so young and won’t remember. So many prayers answered.

At the end of May, we took a family vacation to the Outer Banks of North Carolina. It was so much fun! Kristen, Rhane and Steve joined us and it was so nice to be able to spend time with them. As you know, Josh is an “outside” kid and would stay out 24/7 if you’d let him. The beach is just a perfect place for him. If we could find a way to become beach bums we would. I hope to get our vacation pictures uploaded to dotphoto soon - - so check them out when you get a chance!
